Geotechnical Monitoring
Slope stability radar and satellite analytics that flag a failure before it happens, not after.
Overview
What Geotechnical Monitoring does
Geotechnical Monitoring combines ground-based slope stability radar with InSAR satellite analytics to track wall movement across the entire pit, from millimeter-scale creep to the acceleration patterns that precede a failure. Radar covers active high-risk benches with high-frequency scans, while InSAR gives a wide-area view of the whole site, including areas that aren't instrumented on the ground.
Movement data feeds predictive models that distinguish normal seasonal or blast-related ground response from the acceleration signatures that historically precede slope failure. Instead of a single displacement threshold triggering an alarm after movement is already underway, the system raises a graduated alert as risk builds, giving operations time to evacuate, adjust the mine plan, or reinforce the wall.

Slope Stability Map
A pit-wide view of wall movement combining radar and InSAR data, color-coded by displacement rate and acceleration trend. High-risk benches are flagged automatically as movement patterns shift.
Under the Hood
Built on capable foundations
Radar & InSAR Fusion
Ground-based radar and satellite analytics combine for both high-frequency detail and wide-area coverage.
Millimeter Sensitivity
Detects slope creep at a scale fine enough to catch acceleration long before visible failure.
Predictive Alerting
Graduated alerts track rising risk instead of a single threshold triggering only after movement starts.
Pit-Wide Coverage
Every bench is monitored, including areas without dedicated ground instrumentation.
